SC Wildcats 2020/2021 Winter Season Announcement

As of September 2020, our chapter is excited to announce that we are participating in the planned 2020/2021 GCYFL Winter Football Season. For more details, please reach out to your Head Coaches.

Currently, these are the preliminary schedules till the Winter season game opener so you are aware and can plan accordingly:

  • Monday, December 14 - First official practice No Pads (Helmets OK). 

  • Monday, December 21 - First official practice with Pads. Must complete the initial 10 hours.

  • Monday, December 28 - Third Week of Conditioning Camp. No Contact Allowed. 

  • Monday, January 4 - First official team contact practice. 

  • Wednesday, January 6 - Book Certification. Mandatory for all chapters.

  • Saturday, January 9 - Weigh-in Certification at Rio Mesa H.S.

  • Saturday, January 30 - Week 1 Games. Season Game Opener

Any updates to this schedule and additional information will be posted on our website as quickly as we can.

We thank you for your patience and understanding these past several months, and your continued support. We, as a board, worked hard, and exhaust all options available to our chapter, with the intent to try and make this Winter season come together in a safe and productive environment for all involved.

Santa Clarita Wildcats Football and Cheer

SC WILDCATS FOOTBALL & CHEER is the premier youth football and cheer program in the Santa Clarita Valley.  SC Wildcats is a chapter in the Gold Coast Youth Football League (GCYFL).  Our football and cheer programs are focused on our desire to instill key values of Family, Leadership, Character, Sportsmanship, and Respect in the pursuit of excellence on and off the field of play.

SC Wildcats is dedicated to providing a positive sports experience for children and families in the Santa Clarita Valley by offering youth sports programs in tackle football and cheer for boys and girls ages 6-14.  All coaches are USA Football Heads Up Certified.
